What does joyful courage mean to you
Gosh, I can viscerally feel joyful courage. To me, joyful courage is about exploring new territories. Me, personally, I’m fortunate enough to do that with my family. We just lived in New Zealand for a year and went to the Green School there. Joyful courage is saying yes to things. Really saying yes to opportunities and not feeling like it’s a luck thing or something that you have to feel like is scary. Today, anyone listening, goes out and says, “I’m just going to say yes today. Yes, I’m going to try that on.” Or your child says, “Can we do this?” And you say, “Yes, let’s find a way to figure it out.” It doesn’t mean yes exactly in that moment, but that to me, that’s joyful courage.
